Our hotel at Sorrento is tucked in a cove by the shore. It's the white building in the photo overlooking the sea. Magical!

Vesuvius, Italy

Volcanic site at Vesuvius. Extremely windy, and no easy climb at all to the top! I'm glad my legs held up, and my lungs stood up to the high altitude. Whew!!

Pompeii, Italy

No one survived the 79AD volcanic eruption here. Some skeletal freezes are too gruesome to photograph. Incredible site!

Delphi, Greece

Delphi on Mount Parnassus where the famed Oracle of Delphi came from. Of course, our hotel was Parnassus Hotel. Beautiful scenery!
